TRANSITION~ movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, etc to another; change (Random House Dictionary definition)
This is the word that the Lord seems to be highlighting across the body of Christ.....there is a shift or change happening in the body of Christ. I continue to hear "A new thing is coming. Are we ready?"
What is the Lord wanting to birth in this hour? Who is prepared & ready to deliver?
In labor, transition is the last stage before birth. It is the most physically demanding and draining part of labor. In transition, the mom may feel exhausted, frustrated, impatient, and overwhelmed. Anyone feeling that spiritually?
At this stage in labor, breathing changes. You can't breathe as you did in earlier stages. It is more intensified & focused breathing. As the bride of Christ, we need to be more focused in breathing; more intensified; in unity (intercession). To breathe deeply with our focus on Christ (keeping our eyes fixed upon Him). Intercession gives birth to ideas, purposes & plans that are on the heart of our King Jesus. In this stage of transition, intercession needs to be our breathing pattern, with a focus on Him. Asking, "What is on Your heart Lord?"
Pain increases in this stage of labor as the baby gets fully engaged. Spiritually, when we are birthing something in the Spirit, the pain increases. As we separate from the world, becoming more consecrated and focused on the things of God, there is a flesh pain and a heart pain. Forerunners are being called to step into a lifestyle of prayer & fasting. This will increase flesh pain & heart pain for a time. The body of Christ should not be comfortable with the things of this world, but desire to embrace Kingdom living. God is raising up a generation to birth much in the Spirit in these last days.
During transition, in physical birth, contractions will be long and close together. It may seem to be one right after the other without any break. Spiritually this may be true too. It may seem as though you barely get to relax before the next contraction begins....but we have a great coach to get us through this stage of the birthing process. His name is Jesus, the one who is always with us, who will never leave us. He has sent His Holy Spirit to counsel & guide us in all truth. He is the great "coach" in transition.
Just as in the natural we will give birth~ there is NO going back....that's the same in the spirit. Transition is necessary to bring forth a birth!
Oh Beloved of God, we are entering a new season in this age. He is drawing us near and His Spirit is being poured out upon all flesh. We are entering a season of transition.
Do not be moved. Do not be shaken. Hold on to Jesus.
Ask Him, "What are You doing? What is on Your heart?"
I want to be a part of this revolution of love that is changing the world! As uncomfortable transition is, I don't want to be in any other place....I want to partner with Jesus in bringing His Kingdom to earth. A new thing is coming. Are we ready to give birth?
