Young Arrows
"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of arrows," Psalm 127:3-5
Children have a very high value in God's heart. Many times Jesus compares receiving the Kingdom of Heaven to childlikeness. "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these'," Matthew 19:14.
The Lord is raising up little ones in the prayer movement to declare God's beauty and to scatter the enemy, for the breaking in of God's Kingdom on the earth. Nearing the end of Jesus' earthly ministry, He entered the temple courts and drove out those who were buying and selling there and He spoke, "It is written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer'," Matthew 21:13. It is in this context we see the children declaring the beauty of Jesus in the temple courts. Children know who He is. They are integral to His plan and purpose on the earth. "But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things Jesus did and the children shouting in the temple courts, 'Hosanna to the Son of David', Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?” (Matthew 21:16)
The Lord is raising up an army of children, awakened to His love and power, moving forward in faith and purity, filled with the Holy Spirit to walk in signs and wonders. As children declare and pray, changes are taking place in the Spirit all over the city and region and among their generation. As the Church, we need to recognize the supreme privilege we have to impart God's heart and His Word to these young ones, that they would be equipped to take their place on the wall of intercession.
