Wells of Revival~ in Haiti
The four of us women had the amazing privilege of ministering to 600 women in Cite Soleil, Haiti in January 2012. We left the Omaha airport at 6:00 am, temp was 45 degrees and arrived in Port Au Prince, Haiti in the afternoon, with a temp of 85.
Invited by Pastor Astrel Vincent (who runs an orphanage and school in the area), we held a women's conference, Beloved Daughters of the King, at his church in Cite Soleil. We spoke on the topics of: God's love for us; Having a clean heart ~ how to get free from wounds, offenses and losses; Forgiveness; Authority we have as God's beloved daughters; How to become women of influence (calling Esthers to arise in their nation).
Miracles abounded in Haiti!
1) In Omaha, we were not charged the $50 for additional baggage. God is good!
2) I asked for an Upper Room outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2) & we stayed in the "upper room" apartment! And God did pour out His Spirit.
3) I asked the Lord for the opportunity to lay hands & pray over each woman....didn't think that was going to happen, but on the last day God made a way and we were able to anoint with oil, lay hands and pray over each woman! It had been prophesied over us Isaiah 61:1-3 (that as we touched the women shackles would break off; women would be set free), so it was important for me to touch these women. God is good!
4) It was prophesied over us that we were the 5 wise virgins bringing a fresh oil of the Spirit to Haiti, but there were only 4 of us....the Lord spoke to a young woman six months prior, who lived in North Carolina, that she was to be in Cite Soleil on January 24th. She had no idea that a conference was happening! Elaine was the 5th wise woman that God brought to us.
5) We put together baggies with washcloths, shampoo, lotion, hair ties for each woman. We packed 594 of them and brought them to Haiti with us. We told the Lord that He would have to multiply the baggies so every woman would get one. We had total confidence that He would do it! We placed ourselves around the church and distributed the baggies, but the women would take one from me, then go ask another gal for a baggie (such desperation in Haiti). We continued to hand out these baggies and the boxes stayed full! At the end, we gave each woman one or more, then all the gals in the kitchen received one or more and we had a full box left over. We were throwing around to the men on worship team "Who has a mom?" "Who has a wife?" "Who has a sister?" we would shout out! And still baggies were left over! We truly experienced the multiplication of the 594.
6) First Class flights on the way home! We are the Beloved Daughters of the King!!!!
It was overwhelming to be a partner with the Lord concerning His heart for the nation of Haiti. We declared this over Haiti, "You will be a crown of splender in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah (the Lord delights in you) and your land Beulah (married); for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married," Isaiah 62:3-4
