Revival Flows in the Children
"...we've struck water..." Genesis 26:32
Diane Cory and I were invited to the Children's Equipping Center at IHOP (International House of Prayer) in July 2012, to minister to the 8-12 year olds with worship & the Word (modeling the "Young Messengers" curriculum). We brought with us the Kingdom Cultured Kids worship team & prayer/ministry team and their families. It was an incredible experience for all of us! Our kids were promoted in the Spirit over this weekend....an increase was deposited in them for what they carry to their generation.
Over the 3 weekend services, we had 270 kids and many leaders...our "schedule" had worship designated for 30 minutes in each of the services. The Lord made a way and His Presence broke in during every service~ worship lasted about 1 - 1 1/2 hours! Our team had opportunity to pray for many of the kids and most (if not all) of the leaders. The love of God was released and during one of the services a young boy (age 7) was overwhelmed by God's goodness and wept through the entire service. The prophetic was released in our midst~ several kids came forward to give a word or Scripture to the whole group, or our team, or the leaders. During the last service, the director of the Children's area invited the kids who want to worship/play instruments/write songs for the Lord/etc. come forward to get prayed & prophesied over by our kids. It was so powerful! The sweet presence of God was all over that place.
Our team received a word from one of the leaders.... 2 Kings 3:15, "But now bring me a harpist. While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came upon Elisha and he said, 'This is what the Lord says'...." The word given to our team is this: The worship releases the spirit of Prophecy/Intercession/Ministry, so as the worshipers connect with the heart of God, inviting His Presence more & more, God's Spirit is released in greater measure. Such a partnership of worship & ministry!
We are praying for an increase of God's mark on our kids' lives~ to awaken a generation to seek God!
