![]() The Bride has finished the season of testing and Jesus poetically describes who she is as the triumphant bride~ one who did not give up; did not give in; did not compromise, but stayed true to her beloved. Jesus' heart is deeply moved by our steady love for HIm. Our greatest glory is that we can move God's heart. Before Jesus breaks His silence, her resolve is set: She says to the maidens "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine..." (verse 3). Then, Jesus praises her beauty and reveals what He was feeling about her during her time of testing. She has matured in love for her beloved. Our love for Jesus in the midst of testing is more precious to Him than we understand. In this age we will never understand the fullness of the impact that we have on Jesus' heart. ![]() Augustine said that the only praise to be desired and the only praise that is true is the praise that comes from God. Jesus praises the bride in 7 areas. She has become the mature bride. Let these be confessions of your heart declaring your position and commitment. Jesus is worth it: "You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, as lovely as Jerusalem, as majestic as troops with banners." SoS 6:4
"Who is this who appears like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, majestic as the stars in procession?"
IT IS WORTH IT TO STAY TRUE TO JESUS! The young women (believers) are so moved by the Bride, that they cry out to her to stay: "Come back, come back, O Shulammite; come back, come back that we may gaze on you!" SoS 6:13 When our heart is given fully over to King Jesus in maturity of love...we can endure anything. Where else would we go? Make this your confession: All to you, I surrender. Everything, every part of me. YOUR LOVE MAKES IT WORTH IT ALL!!!!
