"How beautiful you are my darling; Oh how beautiful," Song of Solomon 4:1 ![]() The Lord sees in us what we cannot see in ourselves. Seeing how Jesus defines us determines how we think and feel about ourselves. Focus on God and what HE says is true...don't get preoccupied with failure, rejection, shame, etc...we spend too much time/energy/finances focused on the wrong stuff! The Shulamite has set her heart to obey God and that moves God's heart. Jesus affirms her before she matures~ He calls forth those things that are not as though they are. He does this for us too. And we see examples throughout Scripture of God calling men & women to the greatness that is hidden in them, even in the midst of their weakness & struggle:
![]() Seeing how Jesus defines us determines how we think and feel about ourselves. LET HIM DEFINE YOU.... Jesus cherishes us: *By esteeming us as His bride~ calling forth our greatness *Jesus sees the commitment of the heart *Jesus does not define us by our struggles *Jesus defines us by the seeds of virtue that are in our hearts *Jesus defines us by our longings to love & obey Him *Jesus sees the end of our journey with clarity My confession: I am beautiful to Jesus. I am confident of His love for me {even in my weakness}.
